    One year out feeling good

I really don’t have a goal I was stuck between 250 and 240 since December and was getting frustrated. I went back to measuring my food and started losing again losing weight is addictive so I would like to see how far I can go.

1 Week Post Op - Rash

Yes sometime when we sweat our acid in the sweat breaks down the skin. Just bathe that area every day and make sure you dry well. Hope this helps

    Changing Tastes

And Fluffy talks about spicy refried bean mash with low-fat cheese. Of course she's a Texan and was weaned from Mothers Milk to that diet![emoji14] Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Did you tell the world about your WLS?

I am so sorry. It’s nice to have these forums for support.

Absolutely! I figure reach out to all the allied support people, cuz this is our one time where everyone's goal will be to get us active, lose weight, and improve our life and health. The more we can involve, the better: PT, RD, Psych, Surgeon, PCP, et al! They all have a vested interest in being part of a success/redemption story! (Or at least that's my working theory. LOL.)

That is a solid idea! I'll reach out to my PCP for a referral for PT.

It's a blessing and a curse! I was in 6th grade with a small c (and not overweight in the slightest). Even at my thinnest and healthiest, I was a 34C/D. It kills my back. And I couldn't wear any of the cute shirts without looking like it was a club night. Even Turtlenecks had a habit of looking obscene LOL.

I effectively told the entire county, and then some. I'm a reporter for the county newspaper, and once I got back to work, I wrote an editorial commentary about having the surgery. (You can read it here if you want: http://enquirerdemocrat.com/taking-big-step-forward)
