    One Month Post Op/Plateau?

You were lied to. The three weeks stall is infamous. What can you do? Be patient. That's it.

    Panicking

@jackersducky curious to see how things have been going this past month just because you or OP screw up for a while, as "they" say, tomorrow is a new day.. in the real world - most of us deal with stress at times. in the past many/most of us used food to help "dull the pain" that's how we got here. want to eat bad stuff? GET OVER IT!! hope things are improving good luck kathy

Freaking out Internet is the devil

You will read hundreds of positive reviews here about Dr Illan. Not sure if I've ever seen a bad one,. You have to go with who you are comfortable with. If you can live with the bad review that caused you to cancel with belite, great. I didn't use Dr Illan, but he would be one of my top choices based on reviews, and my interactions with their team. Good luck! Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Am I doing this right?

I'm 2 weeks post-op & still on a full liquids, only 1/3 cup per meal. I know every surgeon has their own diet & nutrition plan to follow after, so just make sure you are following their guidelines. You said you had half of this, some of that, etc. Are you measuring your food? You should definitely plan ahead & log your food & the amount you're eating. We don't have the luxury of eating whatever we feel like or crave anymore.

    Weight loss

It's a valid concern! I ended up being self pay because I had only a 2 lb buffer to work with and decided it was too risky. I was drinking sweat tea every day in an effort to maintain, but felt awful. So I decided to pay cash, switched Dr's and said to heck with insurance. Much less stressful. I feel your pain, I wasn't cut out for that level of stress Sent from my XT1254 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Attn: Naturally Heavy Bottom People

I miss Sir Mix-a-lot, he appreciated chunky tushie. I used to figure I could always get a job as ballast on a Lake Erie steamer. One of my lesser goals on life? To lose enough weight I'm not always the rear seat in a canoe. Why? Because that's where the heaviest person has to sit. I. could get an Native American name like "Pretty Fawn" instead of "2 Rocks in Rump" or a legit N..A. Name -"Tay Bodal" it's Kiowa Indian from Oklahoma. Any Kiowa out there? Goody, I'm safe, it translates as meat Bearing Area of Animal, literal translation Buffalo ****, sadly appropriate isn't it for someone of my pulcritude? Oh I plan to dimish in size and grow in self confidence. And shine, I'll shine brighter than the Aurora Borealis, just watch and see! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

    June 2018 RnY

I should be submitting all my paperwork in early April but I want a June surgery date because I work at a school. I won't need to take time off and I'll have the whole summer to adjust. Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app
