Oh, I like this one. . . . . I'll start. Full disclosure I am 36. No matter what age: You can't wear your daughters clothes. Rue 21, it's in the title, if you aren't in your 20s, don't go in. Mini skirts also belong to people in their 20s. Sweatpants should not have words on the butt. EVER. We are all different. There are plenty of ways to dress beautifully at any age. It's about being comfortable and expressing who you are without going too far. For references on TOO FAR see www.peopleofwalmart.com

    I'm New...

Hey there, I had 2 abdominal surgeries approximately 15 years ago. Scar tissue and the fear of having open surgery scared the crap out of me. Needless to say, I was sleeved on Monday 4/2/18 without complications. I’m 2 days post op and currently recovering in my hotel room

    Need help

I have hypothyroidism as well. I stuck to my pre-op diet religiously. Shake for breakfast, shake for lunch and 4 oz protein with a veggie. Went from 331 on 3/13 to 317 on surgery day 3/26. You can do it!

    Panicking

@jackersducky curious to see how things have been going this past month just because you or OP screw up for a while, as "they" say, tomorrow is a new day.. in the real world - most of us deal with stress at times. in the past many/most of us used food to help "dull the pain" that's how we got here. want to eat bad stuff? GET OVER IT!! hope things are improving good luck kathy

Hello and Welcome! Well I know that my cousin had the sleeve done. She has also had two c-sections. The first was emergency c-section so they cut her open pretty big. The second was just a planned c-section. There wasn’t any issues with her getting her Sleeve Surgery. On the IBS...that’s a doc question!

This advice is spot on, no matter what your age, gender, or weight is. Nicely said.

I am also a creature of comfort. Jeans t shirts and workout clothing are my staples of daily life. I love having times to dress up. It brings out my inner girly girl. My group of ladies started a little black dress night. We bring clothing we no longer wear and donate it to the womens and childrens shelter. I agree. I'm not a fan of style trends. Everyone looks like a cookie cutter. Same clothing ,hairstyles and handbags.

I always wanted to look like Dina Merrill, suburban country chic, linen pants, lady type blazer -you know the type, Instead diet, heredity and bad luck, I look more like Robert Merrill bouncing around the stage at the Met singing Faust or other Grand Opera! I am 55 and don't care to bare my skin or other body parts like I did when I was younger. I really don't care about what is in or out of style either. It is all about comfort for me. I am a casual (not sloppy) dresser and suppose that I always will be. Tee shirts, tennis shoes and blue jeans are what I prefer to wear.
