    TMI - sorry

That would be the most likely explanation for the black stool.

Have you started on an Iron Supplement? If it is being absorbed correctly it should turn your stool black. Trust me I with the color and the constipation the Iron causes me I keep wanting to check for diamonds.

    Exercise

Greetings Everyone!! Does anyone have comments on how soon you were able to actually start exercising after surgery i.e walking outside , cardio . I'm also interested in knowing how soon you guys started to drive after surgery . I suffer from major depressive disorder and I have found that in addition to my meds being outside and exercising enhances my mood tremendously. I'm so glad I found this site, I have received so much info from all of you and I am excited to know you all will be here after my surgery as a support .

    Pills after surgery

I was told eight weeks in my information. You need to clarify this with the surgeon. He needs to give you an actual answer. I started slowly introducing smaller medicine, smaller than a regular m and m, after that time. I’ve not had trouble since but never had problems swallowing pills. I still use chewable vitamins.

We are all adults we pick and choose what to read and respond to. If your post was humor...The funny thing is posts eating off plan are posted over and over. Nothing new here. Ever notice the people that love to spin people up and many people take the bate and get emotional......Uggghhh Gets old. Anyhow...@Raffi Ask around about lipstick lady...sarcasm and humor get lost in here.

    vitamins? For how long?

All I've heard is that I need to take them for life. I had to laugh when I read that I needed to consider the expense of vitamins before having the surgery - I was spending $60 a month on medications for weight-related health conditions (and that was with coupons from the manufacturers!), not to mention what I probably spend on CPAP supplies.

    Need more protein in

Atkins has a pretty good protein water/drink that I was able to tolerate much better than then shakes during the early stages.
