    Many of us have a weight bounce after goal. Many reasons for it. It may be your body settling into a weight that it's comfortable at. Maintenance for me is...... chasing the same ten pounds up and down. Is your meal plan what you were eating in weight loss mode? You can go back to basics, log food, 60-100g protein low carbohydrate. lots of water. When your body has less fat to burn the weight loss is slow. exercise (i know you hate it) is an option. Even if it's just walking.

    Dangers of Excessive Exercise

    After surgery, I found that I had increased energy and stamina (the ability to perform physical labor). Over the years I had become flabby and overweight, but now I was fit and lean. Exercise is good, but sometimes one can overdo the exercise and cause harm. Rhabdomyolysis, or rhabdo for short, occurs when muscle damage is done after trying to lift too much weight, or lifting with such frequent repetition that it prevents the taxed muscles from resting. When this happens muscle fibers break down and die. These fibers then enter the bloodstream and can create kidney problems, and in some cases, kidney failure. Some severe cases may require kidney dialysis. How do you know whether you're in danger of being afflicted by rhabdo? There are symptoms to watch for, but since they aren't specific to this condition it's hard to tell whether a specific weight-training workout, or an intense stationary bike-riding session, is the culprit. In addition to obvious muscle weakness, other symptoms include: nausea; fever; feeling of sickness; bruising; lack of urine output and/or dark-colored urine; fatigue and vomiting. The best prevention is exercising common sense. Don't overexert. Hydrate by drinking water during your workout. And as soon as you begin feeling prolonged muscle fatigue or more than 30 seconds or so, stop what you're doing.     Had my bypass

    I had my surgery done on the 13th of March two days post op and I’m a bit sore but I’m getting their my 2week preop diet helped me lose 15lbs before surgery which made things simpler and had a successful surgery now it’s up to me to keep moving forward with losing the rest of the weight

    Perpetually Dry Chapped Lips

    winter weather causes dry lips could just be that time of year dehydration is a big factor and low levels of vitamin b2 and b3 our surgery can cause numbers 2 and 3 but blame mother nature for number 1

    Hold on there sis! I know that it seems hard at the moment but trust me in a few weeks as you see the weight melt off and your body starts changing and you feel better and get more energy you will forget about the pain that you are in. I am 6 months out and do not regret it one bit. I am over 6 months out and honestly I have forgotten about the pain. I am glad it did it and you will be as well! Just hang in there and sip and walk, in a few weeks you will be one happy woman! Good luck and keep up the great work!

    I barely drink out of straw after my experience once. I have endless amounts of bubbles and pressure in my sleeve. It was like having a burp that you cannot get up. If I drink from a straw, I hold the air and breath it out through my nose and then swallow.

    What's wrong with a straw?

    The theory is: it introduces extra air into your healing sleeve or pouch. So you have increased pain and trouble burping it back up. All kinds of surgeons hold to that premise, maybe their instructors and professors drummed into their dear little heads in medical school. My feeling? Try it, if it doesn't bother you, do it on The sly. Just don't tell Senor Medico, they'll get all bent out of shape. If tongue lashings are your thing, go ahead and come clean!     Insomnia cause - B vitamins?

    Yah, @FluffyChix. My circadian rhythm is all kinds of messed up. I used to pretty much sleep through the night. Lately, I've been waking up 3-4x. I hope that this is temporary.
