    Small Setback

One ounce every 15 minutes at first, Matty. Try to do it in twelve little sips. Keep it slow. Wishing you a safe recovery.

Check in, share our successes! Overall doing well, although I’m still worried I’m eating too much volume (ie 4 oz ground turkey looks like a lot to eat but I can no problem for a meal. Super happy with results so far but notice a slowing now. Need to exercise more Check in people! HW 242, SW 236- (Bypass 12/20/17) GW#1- 199 [emoji736] (2/11/18) GW#2- 175 CW 189 5’6”

    Year out and eating anything

I'm bummed that after a Year out I can now eat anything. Although it's smaller portions, I am losing control of the healthy life style. Argg. I was down from 220 pre sleeve to 147 today. But I was 143 and now I'm gaining. I try to stay under 1200 calories. Should I go back to my books and do the post sleeve surgery diet?

You can look at the feedback you are getting from your new stomach as being a positive thing. It will tell you of any negative behaviours going forward. I'm also learning where the boundaries of what will work for me are..it's an interesting journey for us all! HW 365 CW 332 GW 220 Sleeved 6th March 2018

Hang in there because as you progress with the food stages, this will go away. I am 7 weeks post op and on a normal diet. I don't get hungry unless its meal time, and even then, I have to make a conscious effort to eat. As you eat food with more "residue" you will feel satisfied longer and hunger will subside.

    Goals

I have made goals for myself to keep me motivated throughout this process. My nutritionist has given me a 3 month, 6 month and one year goal but I also made some mini goals in between. I am looking for suggestions on the rewards. Going out to a nice dinner is no longer a great reward lol. I also don’t want to buy too many new clothes until I get closer to my goal weight. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Today I hit my first goal and my reward is a spa day. Can’t wait to schedule it!

3X to 2X last week no today YES!!

It really feels great to shrink. I’m super happy for you. I was wearing 24w jeans. Now in size 20w and there’s room in the waist (not a tight fit). I’ve worn jeans in between one time! I’m going to either sell on Poshmark or send to Threadup. Some items I’ve just given to Goodwill, if it’s nice but not a major designer. @Seahawksfan You’re making great progress - way to go! 🕺🏻

When were you able to eat Cereals?

p.s. if you are carb sensitive (and I am NOT - but lots of people are), I would stay away from cereal. At least while you're in the weight loss phase.
