    War wounds lol

The burping seams to be normal. Let it all out. This morning I woke up and it didn’t kill to get out of bed this morning. Also this maybe TMI but I passed a lot of gas the night before. My doc gave me GasX and it seams to be working. Soreness is a lot less this morning and the bloating has gone down considerably. Hang in there.

    Simple victories

Yes to the weight loss and the thrill of it all.... but there is something about the simple victories and the internal feeling of success . Being able to cross your legs comfortably is amazing Take the little victories in too.... they are equally as fulfilling HW 242, SW 236- (Bypass 12/20/17) GW#1- 199 [emoji736] (2/11/18) GW#2- 175 CW 190 5’6”

    Any issues with meat?

I haven’t found any foods that I cannot tolerate. I kinda wish I did though. Lol it’s like that curly hair vs straight hair argument in my head.

    Preop blues

My VSG is April 16 and I am doing this too. But instead of mourning the food, I am looking for way to modify the recipe and incorporate it in my diet. If is an unhealthy recipe, I am looking to see if it is something to keep for special occasions down the road. You will be able to eat these foods again, but you will do it in a healthier way and with smaller portions. I think that is something to celebrate and look forward too. Drinking liquids after surgery

I am on March 12th too! We're just two days away. Anyhow, to answer your questions ... number 1 is yes and 3 is yes. As for number 2, this is very much dependent on the individual person. I wish I could remember why they want food and drink spaced out.

    Found this very inspirational

Boogie is a legend. This guys has been an internet star for years. It’s been so amazing to see the changes he’s gone through. Also the strength he has to continue to push forward after his divorce.

    Found this very inspirational

I stumbled across boogie2988 while looking for WLS information on youtube. His channel is focused on gaming, but he talks a lot about WLS in his "rambling" series of videos. And whoever did this video about Boogie has a gift in inspirational story-telling! This video blew me away.
