    Regretting it

It gets better! Talk to your surgeon's office. This is a major change, it is a lot to deal with and can be overwhelming. You will feel better on so many levels and it will be something you consider in your meals. You have a new normal, and as a newbie it is one that will be changing a lot. Once it settles it becomes second nature and doesn't feel like it is a burden! Hang in there!

    bumps...

I've lost 225 pounds, and I have that on my tummy, arms, and inner thighs. And no one has ever said a thing about it. (Though I am considering having some plastics work done this fall, but we'll see about it.) I agree that we are our own worst critic...

    Regretting it

We will all tell you it gets better, and the best thing at this point is to stay hydrated and ensure you stick to your vitamins daily and you meet your suggested protein mark.

    Stalls..

i lost 100lbs in the first 6 months. but i’ve been stalled for a month straight now since. talked to my surgeon yesterday, he said i will start to lose again for sure. he said i have been a fast loser the first 6 months, and a lot of times that means the 6-month stall will be longer than usual bc your body has a lot to adjust to. he said slower losers have a much shorter 6-month stall, or none at all.

    Feb. 14, 2018 Sleevers

I am 15th Feb :-) can’t wait. We should keep each other updated with progress. I would love to stay in touch with people having surgery on or near the same date. X
