I'd like to know too! Congrats on 5 days! I'm 5 days too and this morning was the first time I got out of bed with no ab pain! 🙌🏼

    Today’s the day!

Ive done about 6 Laos today. Off of IV pain meds, just orals. Getting in about 2-3 ounces every 2-3 hours. Still feeling depleted but better for sure. Thanks for thinking of me.

    Just beginning my journey

Some require a 6 month supervised diet. If your does not require that, then that will be a time saver.

    Surgery on Tuesday. Any suggestions?

A “power glide” is an IV put into your upper arm. It goes in to your triceps area. They use an injector & ultrasound to put it in correctly. They big trade off is: it’s much longer than a standard IV cannula. It’s definitely scary to look at, but it doesn’t hurt any more than a regular IV. If your veins are hard to work with when you are dehydrated, like mine, then this is the best option to go with.

Do you feel you did the right thing

I had the lapband in 2014, regretted every single day of it. I was miserable and sick for 2.5 years. I took that out in 2016, and I'm now 3 days out of my new gastric sleeve and am so excited! I feel great 72 hours out and am looking forward to my new life (: Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app

Nancy any update on what your doctor and staff said? I know you were in knots the other day, did everything work out? See you're saying Tuesday, so you must be moving ahead. So so happy for you, I know you have been wanting this so much. Hugs! Sent from my VS880PP using BariatricPal mobile app

Help My Hair is falling out

I don't have much advice, other than that I've heard taking biotin may help. I don't know--I've been taking it since the surgery, but my hair has thinned drastically anyway. I've been told it will grow back, so I'm just trying to hang tough and wait for that--but I'm not thrilled to look in the mirror. I cut my hair, hoping that the shorter length might help, but it doesn't make much of a difference. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten a permanent at this stage and whether that helped at all?
