It's so funny that you guys are 2 of my favorite posters, and are dog people as well. After mourning the loss of our 12 year old Sharpei mix last year (sweetest, mellowest dog in the world), we now have another rescue mutt with a lot more energy and who loves nothing more than to be attached to her humans.
If it makes you feel any better, I was curious so just for grins I tried the baking soda test myself. I'm post menopausal and have my tubes tied. Guess what? Mine fizzed too. All it does is show the alkalinity of urine and there are many reasons for that, not just pregnancy. Diet is a big one.
Ok sorry for leaving you all hanging. I do not have cancer, that dr was being an arse. I went to a Hematolgoist and my Iron just was super low. I had an infusion and was great. I didn’t get my surgery right away since I had to give my body time to recover from the infusion and then my son has brought home every germ imaginable Lol. So after I’m well from this flu I’ll be going in. Again. Apologies about running off for awhile. That dr had me a mess.
So as I said earlier I ended up in the ER with a really bad kidney infection. They cancelled my surgery well it's finally rescheduled for 2/9. It was originally suppose to be tomorrow. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using BariatricPal mobile app
So, I thought this might be helpful for neurotic people like me who just don’t know what kind of pain is normal. I know everyone is different but I’m hoping this could help someone. For me, day 1 was horrible gas pains that were bearable with walking and pain meds. Day 2 so far has yielded no gas pains, but my bigger incision (my sleeve was laparoscopic and I think the bigger incision is where they actually take out your stomach) is hurting soooo much worse than yesterday. Is this normal? What is your experience? Thanks so much!
Well, you do have to enjoy having everything you own being coated in a fine layer of fur. LOL. Or enjoy vacuuming daily...or both. Between my dog and three cats I have enough dust bunnies to knit a sweater:)
Greyhounds are lovely. I've never met one who wasn't kind and mild. Enthusiastic...yes. LOL. Gentle tall dogs. They remind me of ballet dancers. Lean, athletic and graceful.
I'm sorry this is happening to you. You don't deserve it. The next time she makes a comment, get uncomfortably close to her, look her right in the eyes & quietly tell her, "With all due respect, you aren't helping." Good luck!
