About a week. Once I had their "Approved" letter in my hand I felt so much better.

    Carbs

it depends on your program. Mine was more of a balanced one, so they would have been fine with that. Some are ultra-low-carb. It also depends on how carb-sensitive you are. I'm not very - but some people are *really* sensitive to carbs.

    Post surgery check list

it's good for the little granuals in capsules, too. Open the capsule and sprinkle the grains on the Cool Whip. I take my Omeprazole like this:)

    Post surgery check list

I've been thinking of the same thing. Just trying to get prepared. To add onto your list: 1. blender or food processor 2. broth for sure! I recommend a broth that you can find from Walmart. It has an increased amount of protein. It is also organic and gluten free. I've attached pics. They have chicken, vegan, and beef. Warning: the vegan has a lot more calories

Keep in mind that not all of your initial losses are fat pounds. In the realm of bariatric surgery, fat loss is what matters. The nurses at the hospital or surgery center probably infused several bags of intravenous fluids into you before, during and after your procedure. These IV fluid bags weigh a substantial amount and make it appear as if you've gained/lost more than you truly have due to water weight. Also, you lose weight and volume as swelling decreases. Don't worry...this will probably be the last week you ever lose 16 pounds.

    2-3 Weeks Post Op Slump

no - the big drops you see are usually in the first 2-4 weeks. Then many of us hit our first stall. After that the weight loss resumes, but not nearly as fast. Slow but steady. Just stick to your plan and it'll come off, though... Compliance is key.
