    Stalled and stuck

I can't speak to the vomiting - that's a question for your surgeon. But as for the others - yes, it's likely the infamous three-week stall, and yes - constipation is a chronic problem for many of us. Just try to keep on top of it. Some of us take Miralax every day, some take magnesium, some use stool softeners, some drink Smooth Move tea, some use some combination of things. Just figure out what works for you and keep on it.

I've dealt with an abusive spouse before... He's my EX now. An EXample of what to never be around again. Only advice I can give as I don't know you or your wife, is to talk to someone close to you, so maybe they can talk to her as well. Focus on getting better, not just for you but for your children as well. Get your strength back and then decide if the relationship is healthy and if not, how to correct it. Good luck. What should you do ? No one can tell you that. But I wanted to say I'm so sorry for what your dealing with. Emotional abuse can happen to men as well as women so I want you to know this is serious and unacceptable. And I'm not sure why she's treating you this way only she knows. And I also don't want to guess or find reasons to excuse her behaviour. Does she know the impact of her behaviour has on you ? Being so soon post op it is an emotional rollercoaster without the added insults from someone it's terrible. Your not alone here we are all hear to listen. Dry Brushing?

I dry brush and I love it! Really gets the lymphatic system going. It keeps the skin on my inner and outer thighs more firm. It does help with cellulite and if I'm retaining Water I just do a quick dry brush and that water retention is gone. I also use Himalayan sea salt scrubs 3x a week during my showers and it works wonders. Definitely think you should give it try Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

    One week Post-op!

You will feel like like you are eating constantly for the first few weeks, it gets easier. My ability to drink more at a time increased quickly. But yeah, it’s a chore at first. I ate a lot of Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, refried beans or pea soup and usually 1 protein shake a day. I couldn’t do puréed meat so I depended a lot on dairy during that time. I bought a little insulated lunch bag w an ice pack so I could take food with me if I was going to be out of the house for more than an hr or 2. I also recommend Cooking eggs in the microwave as opposed to on the stove, they come out much softer and more moist than the stove top. Good luck!

Digging anything Santigold right now... also just plugging in "Indie Dance" into Pandora gives a nice mix.

I can only HOPE to get down to what I was at 19- that was the best time of my life, & I was so active. I got married at 19 actually, & I think I was about 150-155lbs & I’m about 5’8.5” to 5’9”. So was pretty thin! We’ll see though, truly Ide be happy at 170 though! Seriously! Heres me before my surgery and me now at 6 weeks post op. I think I see a difference but it’s hard when you see yourself daily...I hate that! But I def see it in everyone else’s pics!!😜
