I just added up my bills for pre-surgery clearance to-date: $2,997, what insurance paid, not what was billed. Includes: endoscopy ($900); cardiology ($603); psych consult ($532); radiology ($336); six dietitian group classes ($210) ; surgeon ($192); 1st sleep study @ home ($144); labs ($59). Wow! -

It feels so good to see the scale move, even if it's only 3 pounds.. it's been a minute since 3 pounds have shed in a week. It's weird because I've been so stressed lately and actually enjoyed some Halloween candy, even though I probably shouldn't have and the scale went down, not up.
