I can't wait to be able to play with the grand kids and be able to take them places. Without crutches. and not being in pain all the time.

LOL! You're all good. One of the nice things about bariatric surgery is the instant gratification (or almost anyway.) When I hear of people losing like 100 pounds in 3 months and even getting to goal weight in 6-8, I am getting eager to get going.

Scale going up! What's going on?

In a weird way, it is possible.. but it's only because the body can now pause and work on healing (now that it's getting some materials to build with). This might be the key to the notorious "3 week stall" that it seems everyone has... the first 2 weeks are just liquids and the third week has a bit more substance.

    11 months out

1100 is quite a lot for a female in the weightloss phase I personally think. But clearly its working for you as you've lost a lot! Amazing

    Post Sleeve Pre Bypass Limbo

No I have not had any type of bariatric related surgery. My gastric bypass the schedule for January 23, 2018. I’ve had heart surgery in the past and hernia repair is well a few other things I had a hysterectomy in 2013 due to cancer. I wish that I had thought that bariatric surgery was and option for me back then because I may not have had some of those surgeries anyway. But I can’t live in the past I have to look towards the future so as of now bariatric surgery the beginning of 2018 and hopefully much better health moving forward.

    Help me pls !! [emoji24][emoji24]

Make sure you are drinking enough water or liquids. If water is hard to drink try crystal light lemonade. Make sure you are at least walking every day if not exercising. Also make sure if you are eating it is the majority of protein in your diet, and definitely don’t go over your calorie restriction. My group of buddies was told to intake 60 grams of protein a day. The only other thing is you can become “backed up” even though you have not been eating a lot. So, miralax or the generic is what doctors recommend, just to follow the directions. Hope that helps! Good luck.

My approval letter has an expiration date written on it. I got approved in October only valid until January. Maybe call your insurance company to check. That would suck to have to go through everything again.
