    Getting sleeved tomorrow

Hi kristin....i just you d this app and I think I am glad I did, I too will have surgery tomorrow and I am concerned. All the things I am reading everyone did a 2 week pre-op diet, my doctor only had me do a 7 day one. Guess it's too late now since my surgery is scheduled for 8:45am.. Sipping slowly

Am I going to have to sip slow forever? I've always been big on drinking plenty water and I feel like I'm dying of thirst right now and can't do anything but sip it slowly. Will this be always or just couple weeks out

    VSG ???

Hello, My weight on Nov 14, 2016 (the day of surgery) was 306. I am currently at 209 pounds and it's been 10 months since my sleeve surgery. Last month I lost almost 15 pounds. I am 5'7" and 46 years old. My doctor says he expects me to reach 160 pounds at around the 2 year mark. So I sould continue to lose weight even though the rate at which I lose it will slow. I am thrilled with the weight loss and if I didn't lose anymore, I would actually be okay with that.

    Sleeved 9/1.

I was sleeved a few days ago, and currently have zero desire to eat! I'm on full liquids now, so I am sticking to the premier protein shakes. I'm really surprised at how good I am feeling. I hope it lasts!

    Sleeved 9/1.

I do experience hunger. But some liquids seem to quench it now. Most of all, many of my cravings have calmed down. My biggest challenge will be this weekend. High school football Friday. Then Saturday going to watch my daughter March in her college marching band. I will be wanting some nachos so bad!

    One Month Out

That's awesome! And while I can relate to the bittersweet feeling of giving away almost new clothes (or even clothes with the tags still on them!!), it's great to know they're going to such a good cause. [emoji3] HW 280 CW 263 SW 274 DOS 8/24/17

    I feel so doomed

You know what you're doing wrong. Time to get back on track. Eat like you did in the beginning. You can do it.
