    Pain

Your welcome gailkindo You will do just great.. it's all so scary before than poof it's all over with and your saying to yourself what was I so afraid. Look at the number of people on this blog. We all have gone through the same thing and come out better for it. Unfortunately we were all given the short end of the stick... our weight issues. However we all have also made firm decisions to fight the challenges we have been given. It's a new life and a new you... go forth and be healthy !

Has anyone else had it? How did you manage it?

I've been banded over 14 years and still it happens on occasion. Sometimes it feels like there's actually a knot or kink when I bend over a certain way. It goes away. Then sometimes the pain (not severe) does radiate up into my left shoulder. You may be on to something about not going to the bathroom regularly. That's something that I have dealt with so I take Dulcolax to help with that. And I drink a ton of water! If in doubt or really worries you be sure and check with your band doc.

I was 9 days before Inreally had a decent BM, if you know what i mean. I had to take a mild laxative to get things rolling. Miralax did nothing for me. I recently started taking probiotics on the advice of @Newme17 and that has really helped to keep me regular.

I'm gaining weight now now 7 weeks out

It's just a different scale. For accuracy, is the same scale. My home scale is 10 lbs different from my doctor. Don't sweat it.

Chronic dehydration can most certainly cause high blood pressure. It can also cause low blood pressure. Go figure. If your doctor is not worried, I would not spend too much time fretting over it. I would however be persistent about calling them if the HBP continues. Congrats on the surgery by the way!
