    Surgery done June 21st.

Not at all what I expected, little discomfort but nothing I can't handle. I really wish I would of done it a long time ago. Sent from my N9519 using BariatricPal mobile app

    Time off work

I took 2 weeks off. My doctor required a minimum of 1 week. I was sleeved 6/13 and will return to work on Monday. I feel good and really could have returned to work mid-week. Allow yourself a minimum of a full week...5 days would have been too soon, but at 7 days, I had significantly more energy.

    Birth control? for the ladies

Also, weight fluctuations (both gain and loss) are noted side effects of hormonal birth control. However, most of this is due to water retention and sometimes increased appetite. You've had WLS, the likelihood of you gaining significant weight from something like this is slim. If you start on the pill, you have the option to try several different types until you land on the version that works best with your body Find/talk to your gynecologist, you'll be able to ask more in depth questions that are particular to you <3

I have a Ninja I bought at Costco. I bought extra cups from Ninja directly. The cups are easy to take to work. It's loud, but does an amazing job with fresh fruit.

    Going on a cruise....

My family and I are going on a cruise in November. I thought the same thing. But I looked up our ship, their sample dinner menus and viewed a video of the buffet. I have a game plan for what I will eat already. I plan to work out in the gym and take my overactive 20 month old with me for walks. Maybe she'll wear out and take a nap.

I am pretty certain that you must have mis understood him. Water has zero calories and while that may seem great even the most restrictive diets allow 500 calories. He may have said clear liquids but if that's the sacrifice needed to reach your goal , then keep strong and mix it up. Ice cubes, cold and room temperature water. Sounds gourmet doesn't it Sent from my SM-G955U using BariatricPal mobile app
