    Almost 2yrs post op

Well I'm almost two years post op 3mts away and I still have like 50lbs to reach my overall goal with the most lost almost 70lbs with a wt gain of 12lbs. Just seem like I can't get back on track I can't just not touch things I shouldn't. I have my days or weeks I do wonderful then I add back in bad stuff here and there. Everyone tells me how wonderful I look but no one knows that hey she haven't lost as much as the think. I really want to shed these pounds and need some helpful advice and solutions on what to do.

    Diet stalled

How far out from surgery are you? You definitely need to be drinking your fluids. I'm not sure if you're having a hard time tolerating plain water... if that's the case, maybe try to add flavor infuser drops. I use Trulemon and it's delicious, 10cals/pack, and helps get my fluids in. If it's been a few days of you majorly missing your water goals then call your surgeon office and let them know.

    MGB or RNY?

I really don't know anything about the MGB. One of the things I liked about the RNY was it's been around for a long time and there's a lot of data and research behind it. I didn't want to get a surgery that turned out to be the next lapband. That's not to say the MGB *is* - it may be a perfectly fine surgery - but I don't know anyone who's had it and I don't know how long it's been around.

I'm on day 5, I haven't cheated at all, but it hasn't been easy. I can only have meat and veggies, I don't like either very much. I am only taking in 500-600 cals a day. I am actually looking forward to my surgery, because at least after, I can have yogurt! Good luck, we'll make it!!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app

Count net carbs, subtracting the fiber. You will find you have a lot more carbs to work with than you think.

I'm only 2 days in and IT'S HARD!!! I my diet has always been 95% carbs and dairy. The most meat I ate was pepperoni on my pizza and bacon! Vegetables??? NEVER! For 2 days I have been eating meat and veggies ONLY! I am having a hard time, but I'm not cheating! The foods I USED to eat is what got me here, so I am GOING TO DO THIS!!!! I have noticed, that I am drinking ALOT MORE! I have already had 64 ozs of water today and its only 1:14 pm. Good luck to you!!!! Sent from my SM-G930T using BariatricPal mobile app
