    Released with Catheter

I had the same experience and had to be discharged with a catheter. There is no need to worry, you will be back to your old self in no time.

    4days out questions.

Thank u about the spasms I haven't had much warm stuff been scared but I will give it a try I'm going to try to have some soup tonight for dinner it does get easier as the days go on and I know it will just painful so I worried. The gas has been one of the worse I have been walking a lot hard to know if I'm over doing it at times cause it keeps the spasms down to but then when I rest it hurts to move again gotta find my happy medium I guess thank u so much for you reply...[emoji178]

    Anyone regretting this?

I am doing the work - getting my fluids and protein in, walking, doing more every day. My surgeon said the same things about the two different surgeries. I finally agreed to the RNY because I didn't want to have a second surgery. Thanks for the virtual attitude adjustment! I needed that! Sent from my SM-N915V using BariatricPal mobile app

    Anyone regretting this?

Hey keep your head up I had my bypass surgery on the 25th of May and I'm already down 20 pounds keep your head up and stay focused keep yourself around people who are positive and don't let those little mind games have an effect on you you pretty much are having the opportunity like all of us to hit the reset button on the computer sometimes we have to shut the computer down and reboot it so that we can get back on track and that is exactly what it's going on stay focused and stay encouraged Sent from my SM-G935P using BariatricPal mobile app

Pain in ribs isn't always "normal"

I had this plastic thing with balls in it and I had to breath in and try to move all three balls to the top of the tubes. My doc said it was to help clear the lungs and prevent pneumonia. At first I could only get one ball up, but I kept at it and after about three days I could get them all up easily. I think it really helped to use that.

    CIGNA Insurance

I have Cigna, didn't lose anything during the 3 months. Didn't gain, but didn't lose. No issues getting it approved, went through on the first try.

    Scary stuff!

VSG has a lower complication and morbidity rate than knee replacement. Are there risks? Of course. There are risks associated with any surgery. There are risks associated with getting in your car and driving to work in the morning. The question you need to ask yourself is whether the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
