    SF Fudgsicles?

Personally I didn't bother with these. I didn't want to have anything that even resembled some of the stuff I used to eat, lest it aid me in falling back into bad habits.

Finally did a full protein day

I ordered PatchMD vitamin patches to use after surgery. My surgery is June 1 and I'm terrified after reading all of this feedback! As for protein, my nutritionist said it is based on height. As a 5'6 female, my goal is about 89 grams a day. It is easy to get on the pre-op diet because I'm doing 2 protein shakes a day, as well as adding a tablespoon of unflavored protein powder (31g) to 16 of Crystal Light.

    Binge eating disorder

Don't let your family determine your future. Your not psychic (I assume) don't talk yourself out of what could be a life changing moment. Sent from my Moto G (4) using BariatricPal mobile app

Stalls are normal. You don't lose weight every day or ever week. Your body needs to adjust. I had one month I lost zero pounds but 2 dress sizes. If you are eating right you have nothing to worry about the weight will come off.

    13 Hours After Surgery

Uh oh! Pain meds must've been doing more than you thought. Just take it easy & don't over do it. Keep walking though. I'm not far behind.

I fainted at a concert last night

Definitely would be a good idea to go to your doc and get some bloodwork done. Make sure you aren't short on something. That little bit of alcohol shouldn't have done that.

Finally did a full protein day

Had surgery on 4/12/17 and I've lost 41 pounds since my only weigh in but today was my first day doing 86 grams of protein.... I had to do 2 scoops of my Syntrax Lemon Tea which is 23 grams a scoop twice. I don't know about y'all but protein has been my worst enemy next to those chewable multivitamins

    Binge eating disorder

you won't be hungry for a few months after the surgery, but a lot of people with BED have issues once their hunger comes back and they start losing their motivation. You may have to work with a therapist - or as I recall, a couple of people on another forum I'm on take some sort of prescription drug for it, I believe.

Haha! 😂 I had the same thought! If it wasn't for the scars, I would've thought there was some mistake and the surgery wasn't done!

5 Weeks of a New Life

First of all welcome! How long are you expected to drink protein shakes my doctor said he don't want me drinking liquid calories but I know you have to have them for a certain period after surgery. Second I have a lot of posts on here about the protein that I drink it is very healthy and nutritious and it's all made out of plants. Garden of life has the most nutrients and 50 plants superfoods.
