    I'm so nervous

Try not to get yourself all psyched out about pain and gas. I had 0 gas pains, and the physical pain just felt like I did a hundred stomach crunches. I did have some nausea but it was from the pain pump I was on, once they switched me to percocet pills, no more nausea. I was super anxious leading up to surgery, it was over quickly, and now 5 weeks out on to this new journey. Sent from my SM-N920V using BariatricPal mobile app

3 days post-op and feeling hungry?

I was sleeved on May 1. I was getting a lot of gurgling the first few days. Nothing felt stuck, though. Sounds like it is probably just swelling and gas. The gurgling did improve for me. If you continue to have pain, consult your surgeon. Have some sugar free jello or popsicles if you feel hungry.

    Take a Leap of Faith

I've been talking to friends and acquaintances who have told me crazy stories about what they have heard about getting the Sleeve done. When they hear that I had the surgery there fascinated and are stunned because I appear normal and healthy. Why? Because I am!!! Stop believing the negative hype!!! More and more people are getting it done. Remember the successes move on with their lives, because it's better for them. The negative stories are few and only appear on sites like this to scare you. If you are Sick of Being Sick and Tired!!! Take A Leap Of Faith!!!! It's worth the sacrifice of a two month liquids and soft foods. Do It!!!!!!

    Somebody Pinch Me

I just watched a video by Dr Weiner (someone posted on another thread) who explains that the only way for it to be unsuccessful is basically going back to the old habits you had when you gained the weight in the first place. You MUST have a lifestyle change with food, eat quality food, the way you deal with stress (exercising helps), etc. Our appetites do come back, you can/will be able to eat more....now, it's up to YOU what you're eating. It's up to YOU to be successful. YOU have to be successful Blessings on your journey!!!

    PCOS and surgery

I also forgot to mention that prior to the surgery, I have gone without a period for over a year at times. I am in my 20s. Best decision, EVER.

    PCOS and surgery

I'm not too far postop, but I've noticed that the two periods I've had since surgery were miraculously on time. I have another one due in 8 days so I'm eager to see if it arrives on time.
