    Eating too much too fast

I listen to my stomach and it slows me right down. I had sleeve surgery a little over 2 weeks ago. I'm in the mushy/pureed "food" stage. After a few spoonfuls of whatever I choose, I start to get a tad bit nauseous and I push the plate away and Will Not eat anything else and that feeling goes away after 30 minutes. I don't want to vomit or add to my discomfort...so, I just stop, drop, and roll[emoji16]...I know when enough is enough right now!

    had my surgery today!

had my surgery today at 1100 I would say it was a success . ...I wanted to share for those awaiting their surgery The anesthesia was good, I was joking with the surgical staff then next I was waking up in recovery. I have a pain pump....not using it excessively. I have not been allowed to sip yet....the dry mouth is no joke! ha ha. I have a swab and ice Water...so that is a plus. I'm not nauseous....no pain...no gas pressure (yet) I did get up and urinated. I washed my face, brushed my teeth and hair....I actually feel human again! I did get an abdominal band....this is a good thing to have. all is well......hope you don't mind the ramblings....hey, I AM medicated. haha good night friends! Protien shake replacements

Congratulations on your weight loss! As far as a shake alternative, have you tried an unflavored protein powder? I have used Unjury and Isopure, and they are really a great alternative to shakes, because you can mix them into drinks and/or foods such as yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. The powder mixes well into Crystal Light, Powerade Zero, or, my favorite, decaf iced tea. I like the fact that it will help me get my protein up to 90-100 grams a day, which has been the magic number for me dropping the weight over the last few weeks. You might want to give it a try.

That is what I like to hear! In the end it is the ONLY thing that matters.

    Stairs

I was sleeved 11/9/16 and have been following my plan religiously. I've had some stalls but not long periods of time. I feel I have more energy, so yesterday I took stairs instead of the elevator out of curiosity and I was able to without my knees making any cracking sounds and without pain. It's been so long since I've been able to do that. I'm so excited! [emoji109]

    Been Awhile

I had surgery on Sept 26, 2014. My weight was 238 and the lowest i got to was 157. I am currently averaging 160-163...I think its mostly Water weight, but not matter what type of weight it maybe, it psychologically distributing. Other than that, life has been great. Still pretty much control my eating and exercise. I never really made it to my goal of 153, but I was close enough. Now my goal is just to maintain. I feel great, very active and not afraid to leave the house. This was the best decision done .
