    Looking for advise...

As a lightweight it sounds as if you're right on target. I remember I lost 19lbs. in my first month. That was pretty much the least of any DSer I knew. But I was like you. I knew I'd just keep chugging along. And I did. And I have. Almost 12 years later.

    Throwing up

Sounds like an issue to bring up with your doc, then. Possible ulcer?

    Throwing up

Only when I eat to fast. Everything sorta "log jams" and I need to throw up the excess. Perfect example- I was rushing around and ate a couple crackers. Then I took too big a gulp of water. I instantly knew I jammed everything up and went to the bathroom. I threw up the water but JUST the water (ie, what was back up into my esophagus) while the crackers stayed down.

    New pain

Me. I am 25 days out (surgery was on the first) and my largest incision had pain again. I have had to go back to the heating pad, and have taken it easy the last few days. I was told by my surgeon it was/is healing slower than the others but it is healing nonetheless.

My Dr said the first 6 weeks are for healing not weight loss. You just had major surgery. Your body is focused on repairing itself not losing weight. Google 3 week stall. It seriously feels like no one did any research pre-op and just had surgery. If you have ever read any WLS boards there are lots of answers to this kind of question. Do some research so you know what expect and don't stress yourself. You need to be focused on healing and you can't if you are stressed.

    Still in hospital

Been in the hospital since surgery Thursday. Can't get enough liquids in for me to leave. It hurts like hell. Surgery wasn't that bad, not much gas until I start to drink and I've been walking a lot. Hoping to go home today but we'll see

I felt the exact same way. I'm almost 4 weeks post op, and at the same point you are I was really discouraged. Especially when I was able to start puréed food (1 week post op). I felt the the tiny amount I was eating was keeping me from losing. But I stuck with it and my doctors instructions and the weight is coming off now. Good luck to you and hang in there it will get better soon!

    Protein pill ?

My saving grace has been my chicken broth soup. I boiled boneless skinless chicken breast in a gallon of water with garlic powder for 45 minutes then put breast thru puree ,added 2 cans cream of chicken soup to broth then added breast back in. Then put it all. Thru puree again. I can only drink 1/4 cup at a time but i also drink 4-5 times a day. I also made vanilla sugar free pudding with slim fast high protein shake and 1/4cup 3x a day helps. I also made sugar free jello with protein water and eat 1/4cup 3x a day. Also if you like coffee i use 1 scoop of vanilla milkshake protein powder. ive not been able to tolerate much else. Experiment tho and find what tastes good for you. Im only 1week out post op and it hasnt been easy but keep faith and keep trying.

    2 days post surgery

The pain gets better the more you move. Walk walk walk...When you're done walking, walk some more.
