I am sitting in my hospital room, getting ready to have surgery , feeling really nervous but ready for this. It's been a long time coming, wish me luck!!!

Thank y'all, it has been a tough day for sure, and the pain is excruciating at times, but I know it's worth it.

Just got a call today my insurance approved me and I have my surgery in 2 weeks! March 22nd can't come soon enough! Sent from my SM-G930V using the BariatricPal App

The following updates for 3/16: 1) Did my stress test. They got my heart rate up to 185/bpm. We did the sonogram as well. I found out that I have a very strong and healthy heart. I got approved right there by the cardiologist. 2) Went to see my new PCP. Honestly, she seemed very judgmental. She asked me why I did not take other types of appetite suppressants. I was like, "I don't know....maybe because the ones that I have tried has not worked." She then started naming other brands and I was just confused. I really thought that she was going to denied me surgery. I ended up receiving her approval after she did my blood work and a EKG of her own. IDK. I am just glad that I am getting surgery.

I felt the same! But it does get better. Give it three weeks and you'll forget the pain as if you never felt anything.

I am encouraged! My 2 wk post-op is tomorrow I am down 18lbs so far since surgery on Feb 21st. Thanks for posting photos

one time at the mall...... lol i stood in front of Lane Bryant and shot the the double bird and said..... F u Lane Bryant.... hehehe it felt sooooo Good Friday i went to Dillards and bought in the JR. section a pair of Levi's size 5 super skinny low rise..... it felt amazing....

@@sweesee Torrid was the first place I dumped months ago. They haven't had cute clothes in about 2 years, I dunno what their buyers are thinking. I am so sick of all that skulls and pleather they push. The final straw was in the fall when I went there, and they were trying to put me in the wrong bra, telling me just to hook it on the last hooks, umm thats not how you start with a bra, as soon as it warms to your body and stretches a little, you have no where to go. Also, $40 for a graphic tee? DIAF Torrid. @@gowalking The weird thing is looking at the clothes and knowing they are too big, even the smallest ones. I used to be in the top sizes at plus size stores, so I was always looking for a roomy 28. Now to know that I won't even fit their smallest sizes, not even in the shapewear (I will miss buying shapewear at Avenue), is such a rush. I have really arrived.
