Advice on getting in the protein

My doc's office sells products from Health Wise. They had a Protein mix for drinks so it was thinner than a shake and were fruit flavors. While I didn't thoroughly enjoy them they were easier to get down some times and they had 15g of protein per 8 oz of Water. Stuff ain't cheap, but it helped me get through the early stages. Are you mixing your shakes with milk? I know water isn't all that appealing to some people, but mixing it that way might make it go down a bit easier. I had to sacrifice protein for water intake the first few days until it got easier to drink my shakes.

    Excercise post vsg

Do anything that won't put pressure on your abs (squats may strain your abs and increase abdominal pressure which strains the sutures and your healing stomach). Those muscles will be sore for weeks.

    Dating after surgery..

I had my surgery on 1-23 of this year. I had to really thought about it to be honest. I figured just explaining how heavy I used to be would explain enough. If you want to go further, just let them know you made a decision for your health. Sent from my Nexus 6P using the BariatricPal App
