    Worrying too much

Hi there. Here's to Not Worrying -- just knowing that it is all happening. It's all happening. You are in the long game, the one that matters over time -- not the day to day or even month to month but what about one year ago and one year from now. What do those look like?

Very nice to hear you're alive and banded! I just read both of your blogs. Being banded made my health take a complete turn around for the better. I am off all my pre-band meds!

    Worrying too much

you did not gain weight overnight and you wont lose it overnight until you accept that, you are only making yourself looloo.......so stop a loss is a loss no matter how big or small and its not a contest......you get to your healthy weight in your own time look at how good you are doing you are doing it........so cut yourself some slack woman

Thank you for posting this. SO timely! I was hanging on every word, and in those moments of reading it, said to myself......just let go; put the glass down. I need to read this every day, until it becomes a new habit. Stress is killing me, and I know it. And a good portion of it is just my mind obsessing about things out of my control, and a lot of the things you mention....the "why did I, why didn't I, why can't I"......ALL of it. This post from you today was perfect :-)

    Weight Loss and Clothing Size

That explains it then, why women who look like they should wear a 16/18 claim to be a size 6/8. For example talk show host Wendy Williams claims to wear a size six skirt. Really? Really????? I did not wear a six in high school when I weighed 108. (That's 123 pounds ago.)

    Weight Loss and Clothing Size

WOMAN'S plus size clothing is sized differently than Missy clothing. I wear a size 18 or 20 bottom and 14/16 top in WOMAN's plus. But I'm WAY far away from wearing these same sizes in Misses sizing. When I can get down to a 14 pants in woman's PLUS size, that will be around the same size as an 18 in regular Misses size. I'm already able to wear size XL or XXL in missy clothes for tops.. which is a size 18.. which makes sense since I'm a 14/16 in plus size tops. Hope that helps.

    Weight Loss and Clothing Size

Sizing is sooooo stupid. I have lost 83 lbs and wore a 24-26 now I wear 14-16. Must try on everything because sizes at one store are so different from one to another. I so want a pair of regular jeans. I have never worn jeans with a zipper because of my weight. Asked all my DIL's yesterday where to go and what to look for. They said to be prepared to try on many pairs and the sizes can vary 3 sizes. It is not you. They have made clothing bigger and marked with smaller sizes. When I weighed 140 many moons ago I wore a 14 in pants. Now I weigh 190 and have bought some 14's that fit. What gives? Just go shopping and try on what you think will fit and go from there.
