    The Troll has spoken.....LMAO

    You might want to rethink putting your band back in the box after you've lost weight. People who lose weight and have their band removed (for whatever reason) are very likely to regain all that weight. That's mostly because obesity is a chronic,. incurable disease.

    I have been married 42 1/2 years. I get for no reason gifts. I once mentioned I wanted a diamond wedding band, he surprised me with one! You never know.

    Hurt feelings

    I truly think that this is a natural human reaction. They mean well and want to support you but then feel that they are left behind and you are moving on to become a butterfly. Give her time and look to make new friends in a support group who are like minded. Your life did change and you can no longer be the eating out buddy you once used to be but you are going to be happier and some people have a hard time adjusting to that. I have not been visited at all by my dinner friends since I had the surgery. Strange but true.... they took my stomach not my heart which still makes me a great friend.

    The Troll has spoken.....LMAO

    If these things bother you so much, then why make yourself more aggravated by coming here and reading it. We all have had our times and our days of people in general getting on our nerves but for the most part those of us that have been banded for a long time certainly are not going to sit back and watch other fill their guts with pizza and cake three days post op and not say anything. Some people just need a swift kick once in a while.

    Does my liver look smaller?

    Congratulations woman! I haven't been on here for awhile so I had to catch up with whats going on with you. So basically in a week you will be having surgery. I'm excited for you. What did you decide on for your accommodations? Your pre-op diet is different than mine. You must have a lower starting bmi. What are your stats as of now?

    Does my liver look smaller?

    I was actually just looking through my diet a few minutes ago and I have a similar sounding pre op diet. It goes 1 shake with Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and with Lunch you get 2oz lean meat, 1 slice of whole grain bread and lettuce and tomato and with dinner you get 1/2C potato or rice, 3oz lean meat, 1/2 C cooked veggies or 1-2C of raw salad with salad spritzers. Anyway I struggle with with my carbs.... I am just not even sure I could handle having the slice of bread and rice or potato without going overboard.

    Does my liver look smaller?

    I'm on Day 2 of 7....it sucks. I'm hungry, have already cheated a little (improvised) to help me get thru it. My surgery is Monday. I'm sooo excited. I wondered today if my Liver has shrunk any too. =~}

    My nutritionist recommended never drinking alcohol again. But this is not realistic. Moderation is key.
