    Week 3

It sounds like he misses you his friend. You had a relationship with him and lunch time food and he wants that back. Maybe suggest that he bring his lunch once in awhile and you both could eat together. Then explain what you are going thru now so he understands. Men are dense sometimes and have to be told outright.

    Week 3

Sorry you're having frustration with your co-worker, that sucks. I can tell you are trying so hard, and you don't need his temptations! But....I just wanted to throw this out there, from a third person perspective: I could be way off base but it sounds to me like this person just plain likes you. Could be romantic, but maybe not, maybe even just as a friend. Either way, the way he always was able to connect with you was through food. And now that's gone and he misses you..... but that's the only way he knows. Like I said, I could be totally wrong, or I just always want to see the good in people. But perhaps his motives aren't to try to sabotage you (although it seems that way). And just remember, it's challenges like these that make us stronger!

NSV #2 - You Best Step Off, B-hatch!

I had been a 4000-6000 step person with the occasional 11000 day. Yep 11k and I would hurt the next day. Over the last month I am totaling out at 7500 most days and I am feeling great. I have a big time spring in my step. My chiropractor actually adjusts the bones in the bottom of my feet & my ankles. Really helps me

NSV #2 - You Best Step Off, B-hatch!

You're doing great! Just keep it up. You can break up your walking. You don't have to do it all at once. It'll be easier on your feet and hips. Make sure you have the correct shoes and socks. The socks are very important. I bought a nice thick pair for more cushioning but it ended up being too large that I got blisters on the ball of my feet. it took me weeks to figure out that it was my new socks. I've gone back to the older type I had that isn't quite as cushiony, but I'm able to walk 6 miles at a time without any foot problems. I started walking when I started this sleeve journey back in August. I slowly built up to 10k a day. The second day after surgery, I managed to get in 6k steps, then the third day, I got in over 10k. It definitely helps if you started walking prior to surgery. While I'm still home from work, I've been walking between 15k and 20k a day. I really want to get this weight off of me.

3 days left, at peace with my decision

There you go. Good luck, I am a bit older than you are, but most of my reasons are very similar.

Quick FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

Sorry, you're right. I kinda forget to add questions to the post. I try to remember as I see new common questions posted on the main forum. I also need to add the one about all the post-surgery horny women. :-D So can I consider you one of my Haters now, I'm starting a following for my cult. :-)

    Are You a Half-Fast Loser?

Those of us who are fast losers post our success for several reasons, including: * Disbelief of our own good fortune - helps to say it and write it * Sincere desire to encourage others I had no expectations that the "journey" would be so quick and easy for me. At a lower than usual BMI of 40, I expected it to actually go slower than for others. I do have a very fast metabolism, which causes shame rather than joy, because it means I had to work hard to get that big. And I did not do anything special, like work out (at all), or live on Unjury ( I can eat more than most and do!) to lose so rapidly. It just happened. We are in total disbelief of our good fortune and we just need to share it, not for praise and recognition, but to show others that it doesn't have to be an uphill battle for every one of us. So please tolerate us sharing our joy and success!! We share in yours, regardless of the pace!

Quick FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions

I reread my post and I don't see any judgment passed on anyone. You seem to be the one jumping to conclusions. AND if you've read any of my other posts, you would have known that everything I write has a humorous twist to it. Haters gotta Hate. :-)
