    sleeve fail?

I came close ... 12 lbs. over my lowest post-op weight before I slapped myself upside the head and stopped the stupidity of eating junk and grazing. You can definitely "eat around" and "drink around" your sleeve if you want to. A sleeve is NOT foolproof. But fortunately, if you start eating right again, and exercising, the weight will come off easier than pre-sleeve, due to the restriction you get. Take advice from someone who tested the limits of her sleeve and is now paying the price (dieting again) ... don't buy/eat junk food (and junk drinks, like booze/milkshakes/frappucinos) and don't graze. Just following those two rules will definitely help you avoid weight re-gain.

    First restaurant experience

Hello! I also had my first restaurant experience. My husband ordered a plate and an extra side. I took my small share of what I could have. It worked out great. Good luck!

    First restaurant experience

My first experience last week was terrible. I thought they would have at least a Tuna melt on the menu, so I would take it off the bread, well they had nothing like that just big French dip sandwiches and burgers not even a grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was battered or deep fried. I ended up with a cup of homemade clam chowder, which I'm sure was a little heavy on the fat. But 4 bites and 4 saltines later I was stuffed:) Husband ate the rest.

    VERY DISAPPOINTED

to gain weight, one must take in more calories than they burn off. my band will help me (fill fuller) so i need to be aware of what i eat... i did the research and i prepared myself to either do it or not.
