Good for you seeing the doctor. They are there for us the whole way. I hope you don't need to have surgery to repair the band. One thing I have learned from this site and from other banders, call the doctor. Good luck eating.

I had absolutely no gas pains at all after my surgery. I planned for it and even had the Gas-X strips in my "entertainment" bag that I packed for my overnight stay at the hospital. My doctor said that my surgery was by the book - and kind of boring. Yay to boring!! I have had zero regrets for my surgery. Here's to a great surgery and recovery for you too!! The only sad thing is that I haven't really had a chance to have a new favorite pair of jeans!! I've also learned that when you do start dropping weight, don't buy too many jeans - unless, of course, you wear them every day. We can only wear jeans to work on Fridays, so having one pair that fits is enough for me right now. I can wear the jeans on Fridays and on the weekends if I need to... the poor things get replaced too often.

Success or Failure "Who's to blame?"

Very well written, and I respect your "opinion" And people need to hear everyone's opinion. In my case, this has not been hard at all! After the first 6 months were out of the way, it became very simple and easy , for me. I too have lost all my weight, and I wake every morning thanking God I can face he day the same way any other skinny person can, not afraid of eating wrong, and not afraid of gaining weight..... I can't wait to face the day, with no fear....what can possibly happen? Like I said, everyone has their opinion, and that is mine....and that is what these boards are all about....people being banded and sharing their personal experiences....and people need to hear it all. You are correct to say people should not be so judgemental. People should only respond by sharing what their experiences have been.....period. Thank You

    Lunch anyone?

Thanks for sharing.. I think that would be one of my hardest things to grasps once I am at restriction or the spot I should be at. I eat when watching t.v.. on the comp.. etc. need to pay attention more! I don't want to go through that.

It's all about listening to your band. if I hadn't stopped when I got the soft stop warning, well it would of been a lot worse. & I respect her and will do liquids for the evening. I'll be back on track tomorrow. Rose will be blooming!
