    Welcome. My dietitian told me that you have to eat to lose weight. Maybe contact yours to ask questions. That is why they are there. I can email mine and she usually answers within 24 hours. Good luck with your new journey.

    Wonderful!!!!!!!! I live in MA and was told that if you get rashes and have problems, insurance pays for tummy tucks when the doctor recommends them. Maybe ask, it can't hurt. Good luck with your new life.

    AJtexas, that is awesome. what i can't wrap my mind around is HOW did you get wantpower? I am being banded on 12/18 and don't have to do preop diet but I am going to start on sunday anyways. How do you make that happen if you struggle with willpower/food as it is? (hence why I need the band)? Does the surgery do something to you to make it easier in the mind? I am so worried/confused about this. I have to give up so many addictions for this and i want to be successful so bad, but an example is diet coke. I am a carbonation/diet coke addict. Does that craving go away a little when you are banded? Anyways you are awesome for posting this!

    Could it be your water intake? Maybe you need more or try 3-5 protein shakes a day until you start losing again. It helps to restart your metabolism. Some say try a day of eating as many calories as you can get in then the next day do the 3-5 shakes and at least 64 ounces of water. You should start losing again. I hope this helps..... Jenipher!

    Is it possible to not be eating enough

    Actually I just asked my nutritionist this last week because I use myfitnesspal to journal my food and found that some days I only get 5-600 calories, which worried me this is not enough. She said she was not worried about the 800 calorie days, but I needed to work on the below 800 calorie days. They (my nutritionists) really don't use calories in what I'm supposed to eat as they focus on protein and carbs, but I still see the calories and just think that is too low, even if I'm not hungry.
