    I love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes (1991) with Kathy Bates, Jessica Tandy, it’s a must see so rent it if you've never seen it. This is one of my favorite scenes…… Just wanted to share it with everyone. I never get mad, Mrs. Threadgoode. Never! The way I was raised it was bad manners. Well, I got mad and it felt terrific. I felt like I could beat the sh*t outta all those punks! Excuse my language. Just beat 'em to a pulp! Beat 'em till they begged for mercy. Towanda, the avenger! After I wipe out all the punks of this world, I'll take on the wife beaters, like Frank Bennett, and machine gun their genitals. Towanda will go on the rampage. I'll put tiny bombs in Penthouse and Playboy... so they'll explode when you open 'em. I'll ban all fashion models who weigh less than 130 pounds. I'll give half the military budget to people over 65... and declare wrinkles sexually desirable. Towanda, righter of wrongs, queen beyond compare! How many of them hormones you takin', honey

    Just got back from a beautiful wedding. I thought they would have food I could eat, so no worries. Well I was wrong, there was all pasta, and I'm on the Adkins type pre diet. Well thankfully they had salad and for the kids they had chicken nuggets. So I peeled off the breading from the chicken and cut it up in my salad and made my own dinner. Got some exercise from dancing. Any other diet I would have said, oh well, and ate what was there. I think I'm finally learning to adjust food to my requirements, not just go with the flow. I hope I always stay true!

    So I have set up the first 4 appointments needed to start everything! And I'm so happy about it! 1st appointment: Novemeber 28th (nutritionist) 2nd appointment: Novemeber 30th (doctor for recommendation letter) 3rd appointment: Decemeber 20th (nutritionist <--- this one is tentative because of work, but I'm surveillance be able to go) 4th appointment: January 25th (nutritionist) I may have another appointment after that, but I won't know until my first appointment on Wednesday, I have already seen this nutritionist, but it was in July and the person I was talking to to make all these appointments wasn't able to tell me if it would count. I hope it does. If it were to count then I could possibly be banded at the end of February, if not.... Then march. Which I'm ok with, because this is all happening about a month and a half faster than I though it would happen. Eeep! Well I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

    What Is Maintenance?

    I right there with you AJ. I had to increase my calorie intake to 1550. I kept losing and the doctor wanted me to stabilize my weight. We add 500 calorie at a time. I hit my target 3-4 days a week still eating around 1200=1300. Good luck!

    First To Sit Down?. Last To Finish

    This will be my first Thanksgiving. Currently, I would not even be able to finish what you ate above. But, I think it's because I might be a little too tight. Aything I eat or drink, gets very uncomfortable very quickly. I cant even drink as much as I should. I feel it right in my chest too. Have a Dr apt tomorrow afternoon, so we'll see. Anyway, I look forward to this Thanskgiving, to be with my entire family, and hopefully... just hopefully, someone will notice that I've lost about 36 pds. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

    How Much Do We Really Eat?

    Hi dinnh, I take 2 egg whites,a scoop of french vanilla protein powder ( disolved in a little water)Add to that a little half and half (30ml).Now I add Ispagulla husk to it (20g of fiber)I allow the fiber to swell up and then I make sweet,but not too sweet,pancakes with it.The consistency of my mix is different all the time though as I just chuck things together. I eat it with sf maple syrup and it is a meal and pudding for me all in one. The cals is 150 protein is 34 and it is very filling.Some days I eat this in 2 portions as morning and afternoon snack as Im trying to spread the protein out over the day.
