    Chew, Chew, Chew

Sorry your having issues but this is normal. Eggs and shrimp can be hard if band is working until you get used to this fill. Maybe try smaller bites, seriously take a bite no larger than your pinky nail. I know that sounds crazy but a normal bite after a fill will trip you up everytime. I have had plenty of times when I knew I was not getting the nurtrition I needed. So make sure your doing viatamins, and if all else fails drink some protein. In the beginning eggs, chicken, lettuce and bread of any kind gave me issues. If you are still eating the way you are I would not recommend a fill, only get a fill if you can finish your plate of a cup of food and are hungry before 3-4 hours after eating. I have only had 3 fills in 2 years, most days I am not hungry and have to remind myself to eat. good luck.

14 Weeks Out, Up And Down At The Same Time.

There are all kinds of very brief "exercise at work" suggestions. Just a couple of minutes standing up, stretching, or chair exercises might relieve some of the stress you are feeling about missing exercise. I do 10 minute walks because I can't face the prospect of a longer one. Maybe you could try a 5 minute walk at lunch, IF there's any time left over. Anything you do consistently, no matter how small, will build your exercise habit and get you headed toward more exercise in the future.

I really appreciate your recent blogs about this. I have yet to be filled, so I'm very interested in hearing about what it's like... and how to eat/live with the fills. Sincere thanks. I certainly hope this gets easier for you! Best wishes.

    Starting My Journey

I to am just starting my journey. I have finished all my pre-op testing and now am just waiting for my surgery on 12/19/12. I've told several girls I work with and they are all very supportive and understand why I'm doing it; my husband, however, is a different story. He loves me the way I am, and is afraid of the "dying on the table" risk, but he also understands why I'm doing it. After all, if he loves me that much he should want me around longer right? lol Just remember you are doing this for YOU, not anyone else. Keep your eye on the prize and you'll get there for sure. Anyway, good luck on your journey and can't wait to hear about your victories..

    A Healthy Kinda Feeling

I truly understand. I had been a little down about my weight loss (30lbs since 8/13/12). But after reading this post i realize this is MY lifetime commitment to myself, for my health, family and to feel good about myself. Thanks for this post it brought me back to reality.

Hi there Ana. I had trouble with Okra. I think because it is so fiberous. I am introducing foods slow and easy and eating very slow and controlled and not drinking during meals. I had a turkey meatball with red marinara and I think the sauce was too acidic for my tummy. Figure my new stomach is learning as we go so I am just really going to introduce new foods slowly and carefully. Congratulations on one month post plication! I think this past month was the hardest part!
