Sounds like your doing great! I just had surgery on June 25. Tomorrow will be 1 week out. I am feeling the same. My right side incision hurts still. My doctor mentioned to me that there would painful due to them making that incision bigger so that they could remove the stomach they cut off. Having a positive outlook goes a long way before and after surgery. Hope everything continues to go well for you! -

1 pointI'm OK- doesn't seem real! I sat at the vet today and brushed my kitty and she was quite responsive so it made me feel a bit better about her. They will do more blood tests tomorrow and I'll call on my way to surgery.

Thanks for your blog - I am planning on walking as soon as I am able - and am terrified about the coughing! I have a small cough still left over from pneumonia last month... and I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, and I know the pain you feel for those little incisions..... and I also remember getting up and walking soon - the first time is the hardest!! Thanks again - surgery in 25 hours!!! -

Good Luck to you....I to woke up with a great out look on it all....I told myself if i want to loose faster..I have to work harder...so I set my alarm for a hr early and I went for a good fast walk ( with out the kids) and I am going to work extra hard on portion control......OOO i use fitness pal and logged it out early in the night and told myself...I was done no going back and adding to it....fingers crossed it worked....God is Good ! -

Started at that same weight.....good luck on your journey and congrats on the weight loss, just remember the more weight you can loose befor surgery the better. I was 213 the day I went in for surgery and I'm at 173 today. It's definitely a battle to stay on track but it is so rewarding. -
