I choose the Band because i didnt want to mess with my insides and it doesnt cause no malabsorbtion....i felt a whole lot more comfi with the thought of getting the Band ... -

1 pointI was banded on Monday. It went great. I'm glad I had the surgery when I did. My doctor found torn liver, hernia, some damage to my esophagus....This surgery saved me from alot of future pain and 3 additional operations. I feel better after surgery was rough...No gas,bm or shoulder pain, has anyone had this experience. I know the Bm would be a delay. We all are Superstars!*

Insurance Won't Pay!

Same deal here, my company does not have that as an option in their insurance, but in the long run, self pay was much easier, without having to jump through the insurance companies hoops. I just paid and had surgery, no pre op stuff except an ekg and egd which my insurance did cover.
