    Am I Missing Anything?/recipes

If you can have tomato, you can have any of the cream non lumpy soups or strain or blend the lumps. I love the ones that come in little boxes like a milk carton. Butternut squash, red pepper, etc! You can add your protein powder to them easily.

    Time Off Work?

I had my surgery last Friday(1/27) and plan on going back to work tomorrow. I honestly thought I would feel better than I do at this point. Today is the first day that I have not been walking around my house holding my stomach as I also felt like it could drop out at any time!! I had a hernia repair at the same time so maybe that is part of the longer recovery process. I also had never had surgery of any kind and was maybe a bit too optimistic about how quickly I would be feeling better. Take your time and don't rush it.....trust me on that one.

    Tips For Starting Exercise

I started Couch to 5k a few months after my surgery and I loved it! The program is constantly changing so it goes by really fast and the week by week progress makes you feel really proud of yourself. All you need is a pair of runners and a ipod to use as a timer. Even better download the C25K app. Hope you find something you love to do!!!

I think it depends on what type of shakes your Dr/intuitionist recommends. I go to true results, and they don't sell shakes, but my nutritionist recommends EAS Advantedge shakes, which are lower cal, low carb, no sugar, and high protein... she also like pretty much all of the EAS line (Myoplex, etc) Some shakes can have alot of sugar in them == lots of carbs, but also lots of protein. Then there are some that are "zone" balanced... higher protein, but also some carbs and fat....

    Tomorrow!!

I might try them, thanks. I love the Premier Protein from Costco but you get sick of everything after a while! I am banded 2.5 years and I am tight in the morning and a vegetarian so I have one every morning but I need some variety!!! Good luck with the whole thing...its the best thing I ever did...it was a struggle at first but now its pretty easy!

That is exactly the question that I have.....I have an appointment with the PS at the end of the month. My port is my major question/concern.....I don't want to pay 7k and have a golf ball sticking out on my flat tummy. I guess the people that have had tummy tucks should be able to help with this information....
