    Nsv's Anyone?

I think my favorite nsv was seeing my ex at a party and then all his friends who used to say how fat I was, come up and tell me how good I looked. I just smiled, thanked them and told them loud enough so he could hear too that it was only going to get better.

I had always wondered why it was more difficult for me to eat in the morning too. My doctor said this was normal. He said to drink something hot in the morning and then eat something a little later.

How Much Can You Eat At 4Cc Fill?

I didn't cut carbs out. I didn't cut anything out. If I couldn't eat bread, I ate Pasta. Or noodles. I ate some carbs almost everyday. But I did try to have a balanced diet of all food groups. I tried to not eat too much high calorie, high fat or high sugar foods, but I did occasionally eat all of those things even while losing. I did not feel deprived. The link to my 'mindset' is in my signature, if you're interested in the way I lost weight. I don't feel like I dieted. I feel like I use restraint. Restraint, not deprivation. And I exercised. Read my 'story' if you're interested, and take or leave any or all of it. But you can lose weight on a diet that doesn't cut any one thing out.

I lost a friend the very next day after my surgery but ya know what i found out, she wasn't my friend in the first place. I think it takes time for people to adjust to our changes as much as it does us. Don't sweat it. You're gonna do wonderful and more than likely you'll have a LOT of support. Not much longer now. You'll be so happy!

I am also pretty sure Dr Davytan is the guy who has a lap band himself! I almost went to him but even though I was a self-pay I thought I should try to find someone on my provider list in case there were complications. I went to Dr David Oliak In Orange (he has two other offices, one is in Brea) anyway I LOVE him and all his staff! They were great and I dont have any complaints at all. Dr, Oliak stitches your band in place and has never had a slippage! I cant say enough about him or his staff! Good luck!

I'm wondering why Americans more often do not consider the lap band procedure overseas? From reading others posts on here, I think America put people through too much to have the procedure done. In my opinion it is a way of collecting money. I'm an American and I live in Europe now and had my procedure performed by Dr. Chris Bruyne in Belgium. I don't regret anything about the process. First off I had to approximately $5,600 dollars for the package that was offered which included 3 night stay in hotel for your companion, my two night stay in the hospital, taxi ride from the airport and to and from the hospital and all test, X-rays and lab work. The hospital was clean and the nurses were attentive and I received all the pain medicine to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Maybe it's the paying out of pocket that throws people off but I believe if its something you ready want then you'll save for it. At the end all I had to pay for was the meals my husband ate at the hotel and for our plane tickets (most times you can find tickets from the states to Europe for about $880). I'm a medical student now and I really wish America would catch on to the idea of stop wasting peoples time with their psychological and constant doctor visits, denials by the insurance companies and I can go on and on about how we are slowly advancing in medicine due to others chosen "Ethical" precautions and just do the procedure... BTW I can't wait to loose my weight because I'll be going back for a breast lift and tummy tuck; which is also much cheaper here!!!!!
