Pre And Post Op Tummy Tuck Pics...

These aren't the best. I'm going to take more after my shower today and make sure my camera flash is off first. Despite all the bruising I'm post op day 4 today and I still haven't needed any Vicodin at all. I'm very happy with my results. I had the no drain method Tummy tuck.

My surgery is scheduled for jan 20 2012. I have struggled with my weight for the last 7-8 years. My teenage years and into my twenties I was 130 lbs. it wasn't until mid twenties ( I'm am 31) when I started packing it on. I have tried everything to lose the weight and I did lose some I have never got down to goal. But always gained it back plus more. I weight 197 lbs and a BMI of 32 and my goal is 140lbs. The people that I have told have said "just exercise more" or "your not even that big". And it really makes me mad because I have been exercising. And I explain to those people (and I only told my husband and both sisters) I can't live my life trying to lose the weight and just gain it back every single time. I'm not living my life for them I'm living it for me. And my weight affects every part of my life... I'm tired of being depressed and stressed out because of the weight. I don't like to have company because I feel I'm being judged, I hate going out in public because I'm always worrying if the outfit I'm wearing makes me look worse then I already feel. And so much more...I have been reading this site for a few months and it gives me hope. Whenever I feel crappy I always get on here and read peoples success stories and I love it! One day my success story will be posted! If any of us lose just one pound that's a success to me! GREAT JOB EVERYONE and thank you! Amanda

Warning Mature Content To be honest I was having sex with my wife and I noticed I couldn't go as deep as I use too, because of my belly. So I guess I did it because I wanted my d**k to look bigger…LOL And all the other stuff you guys mentioned too.

    Setting Your Goals......

My first goal was to get under 100kg - done! My next goal is to wear a size 14. Currently at size 16-18 on the bottom, 16-14 on top but this time last year I was squeezing to get into a 26 so am well on my way! My other goal is to get off my last blood pressure tablet.

That poster would be me. it wasn't so much Dr oz himself that made wls look so bad to my mom, it was the way things were presented by the guests. there were some things that were misrepresented, like the amount of food eaten in a day and some of the negative side effects. i don't have a problem with Dr oz in general. i think he tries to present things in a pretty neutral way, but the show didn't seem that way to my mom. i told her about the article you had mentioned, and she was surprised that he was so pro-wls. maybe that helped change her opinion a little, idk. i personally have already done a lot of research and have pretty much decided that lap band is right for me. i plan on going ahead with or without her support, but things would be much easier with it. i rely on her pretty heavily for support emotionally and also with help at home since my boyfriend is often gone long hours and at odd hours sometimes and because of my medical conditions i really need the help sometimes.

That is what I am hoping for! January is pretty busy, so between pre-op appointments, eating behavior classes, my graduation, and the two week pre-op diet, It should go pretty quick! Yay!

    Bedding Hotties.

Ginger, that's pretty much the stock response from girls. The problem is that what women say and what they do are completely different. I'd bet dollars to dough nuts that your gorgeous friends that think the thin guys are jerks and the other ones are great guys is having sex with the thin jerks and not the others. While it is true that women are not attracted in the same way men are, it is a mistake to think physical attributes don't play into it. Unfortunately, being over weight caries with it a negative social stigma and the last thing hot women want is to date low on the social totem pole. Note your example of the celebrity who plays the husband of a hot woman on TV. It is his celebrity status and the perception of value that comes from his hot TV wife that makes him attractive. It's called "social proof." Women are into looks, just not in the same way men are. Women are into masculine facial features and tall thin men even if they are not "good looking" in the traditional feminine sense. But again, what women think they want in a guy and what they actually go for are two completely different things.
