So, I know that the Teens part of this is kind of slow, but if anyone does get on here and wants someone to talk to, just hit me up. I'm 17, and was banded last August. I have been through hell and back with this thing, so I understand most problems you may be having. Finally, got official approval and the surgery has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 30th in Baltimore!! Not excited about having to drive 2-hours for the surgery, but at least its going to happen this time.

+1 for Land's End! I have THIS one in the DDD version and it's amazing! The straps are adjustable and you can unhook and criss-cross them in the back for extra support. You can pick which bottom works best for you. I got the longer skirt so I can pull it up to tuck in my loose muffin skin roll... I'm 5'6" and I've lost 94 lbs. Oh, note from my boyfriend "Don't forget it makes your boobs look great too!" He's right! They're a little saggy now, but this top gives them a great shape! Janiece

I'm on Optifast Protein Shakes five times a day. It's not that bad, just watching others eat is the worst part but I have to remind myself that I'm doing this for me and to get healthy.

I've only tried one protein powder: Syntha 6 Vanilla Ice Cream. I bought a huge jug on Amazon for $27. It lasts forever. Also a must have is a Magic Bullet. I put 1cup milk 1 cup frozen fruit and a scoop of protein powder. Put in Magic Bullet for a few seconds......delicious. After you progress in food stages, you aren't supposed to "drink" your calories, but my doctor said a protein shake like this in the morning is great. There are approximately 36 grams of protein.
