    Cheeseburger Pie

I always loved cheeseburger pie (from the back of the bisquick box) and figured I would share my healthy version: This recipe serves 8. 1 lb lean (93% lean) ground beef 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup) 2 small tomatoes 1 cup fat free shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 cup Original Bisquick mix 1 cup skim plus milk 2 eggs If you want to even lessen the fat and calories more, you can use heart smart bisquick and egg whites Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and onion (season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc.) over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Spread in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. In small bowl, stir bisquick, milk and eggs with fork or wire whisk until blended. Pour into pie plate. Slice tomato and cover the entire top of the pie. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean Here is the nutritional information based on the above ingredients: 1 Serving: 181 calories; 6.12g of fat; 10.86 carbs; 3.54 sugars; 19.91 Protein Hope you all enjoy!!!

    Why dont I feel different?

Hello Everyone - I have been banded for 2 years -------- and have GOOD RESTRICTION now..........but it has taken a long long time for me. I have a surgeon that believes in SMALL fills with a lot of space in between -- it was HORRIBLE. I could eat and eat and eat. NO restriction what so ever. The doctor and nurtitionist kept telling me to use my will power --- I would say to mysefl - IF I HAD WILL POWER, I WOULD NOT HAD BEEN FAT!!! Instead of using will power - mind you I did TRY to eat less - I started an INTENSE exercise routine... signed up for 2 years at the local ATA karate school...so I took TaeKwonDo lessons, kickboxing AND resistance band training. So I did loose weight - but more so I lost inches and dropped pant sizes. Finally about a year after my surgey I got some restriction. WOW - you WILL notice the feeling when you get FULL. I had NEVER "felt full" after eating tons of food. Once you have restriction -- all those rules they tell you about -- you NEED to follow them. otherwise you will get "stuck" and have often "PB" episodes, etc. I hate to say it (because I hated to hear this when I was in your shoes) - be patient - you WILL get restriction...and when you do --- WOW it will all be worth it! Hope this helps!

You have to remember Gym rats have never a day in their life ever had to put up with what we have. He works out probably and hour or two every single day and sees that you should do the same to get his same results. We are not and never will be gym rats because if we were were would need surgery or people like him to help us. I say this: Your decision to have surgery is your first and foremost decision and it doesnt matter who really liked or likes it or will like it after it was done. I worked with a girl who was morbidly obese and tried every single diet losing 40 here gaining 60 there and told me to my face that it was not going to be easy and see how slow I was going to lose weight well I lost 70lbs within 6 monhts and have kept it off. Am I at goal weight no and Im not because I quit smoking and the weight loss just stopped however if I never get down to my goal weight that 70lbs was all I needed to live a life of health and not get up every single morning and take 10 medications and going to be take 10 more. I am back to my healthy self and thats all that matters and if he doesnt want to support you tell him to go find some skinny ass wink wink to work out with. I dont need a personal trainer I just need to do me and so do you. Dont let people steal your joy for what you want to do because when it comes down to it none of this was easy from the beginning or now trying to maintain and be happy where I am. Girlie give up the trainer and get a new you that you deserved to have

A calorie is a calorie..is a calorie Your body doesn't know a calorie from an apple any different from a calorie from pizza. If it fits within your daily caloric needs, there is nothing wrong with pizza. Don't be so foolish. The only thing important at the end of the day is a caloric deficit and ensuring your dietary fat/carbs/protein needs are met along with exercise.
