    unfill before vacation

By the way, I should add that when I "unfilled" for a vacation (due to long flight) I lost 4 pounds that week Of course it was a ski-vacation so lots of cardio every day!!!

    Exercise

Had surgery April 15th. I have been walking my dog, but not very far, at least 2 times a day...probably 15 minutes at a time? May not account for much exercise as she likes to stop and sniff everything! I do live on the third floor, so today I have been up and down the stairs maybe 7 times? Went to the gym today for the first time and got on the treadmill for 25 minutes. You guys are lucky, as I was told by my doc that I have to wait 4 weeks to get on the eliptical or arc trainer.I kinda want to wait at least another week for breaking that rule because of the earlier issue with my incision. Tomorrow I will do a little more.

    Exercise

I started going to the gym on Monday. I have been doing ellipticals and walking around the track, nothing to intense. On Tuesday cos i had heard how great Zumba classes were i decided to try it out and it was so much fun I did it at my own pace so that my port does not flip i worked up some sweat and i was really happy. I took a break on Wednesday. Today there is another Zumba class and i plan to go for it. I have never been an exercise person but i know it would definitely help with the weight loss. i am so happy about the zumba class i don't feel like i am working out at all. find something you love and you will not feel like it is exercise.

    August Rush in bandland!

Hi everyone. I don't know how many of y'all remember me....~ I was banded on August 13, 2010.......... and on October 5, 2010 I found out I was 12 weeks pregnant. Yep~ I was just about 3-4 weeks pregnant when I had the surgery. I also had two fills in that time span under fluoro..... I was SO scared of potential effects all this would have on our child...... All totally unexpected - we were on the pill - very long story that I shared back here last Fall. Anyway.......... I wanted to share that amazingly our perfectly healthy baby boy, Carson, was born on March 29, 2011. He weighed 7 lb 14 oz, 19" long. I gained ZERO. I never got "unfilled".... and had no complications, and by the grace of God the docs say he is perfect. Just wanted to share..... let the weightloss begin! haha~

Is it what you eat or how much?

Wow, I love this! I also have a Vitamix and make fruit/yogurt smoothies so far. I will try the vegetable drink now too. I'm only 5 weeks out from surgery and eating vegetables seems impossible. I haven't had a fill yet (next week) and still get restriction. I get full/too full easily. Vitamix @ least gives me a smoothie vegie option. Thanks for reminding me of all the machine can do. I make milkshakes for my kids. Soup.......lots of options. I need the energy. Thanks.
