AnaBanana 63 Posted July 1, 2015 with my dad at my daughters graduation almost 2 years after surgery. since coming out of the hospital a little a year ago from complications i have maintained a steady weight of 147.5 all this time. it's almost weird that .5 is always there! that is an xs dress from american apparel. my goal weight was 115lbs but i don't think i want to lose any more just maybe tighten up. people already think i weigh 115lbs. i did lose a lot of muscle during my hospital stay (was not able to take protein shakes after being on iv fluids for 1 month then a tube feed, the protein powder i tried to sneak in kept clogging my tube! anyone with complications hang in there!!!! i do NOT regret my surgery. i do miss my dearly departed surgeon dr. aceves. i wish he had lived to see his great work. bless him. he saved my life.
