My 6 year old has the same curls. can i ask what you use to wash it and detangle it? my poor daughter gets tortured every time i wash her hairs since i had super straigh hair and i am clueless . You go girl!Gorda123--Leave In Conditioner!!! Is your daughter of mixed race? My mom is white and my dad is black and when I was young...OMG. My mom had no clue. I wear my hear curly and straight -- but in either case, Leave In Conditioner is a must before styling or blow drying or it dries completely out and looks like a ball of Frizz. LOL! good luck.
