Finally posting a "bandiversary" pic. I was a little upset that I didnt make my personal goal of 100 lbs lost. So here I am still at 187 but I'm not gonna stop trying to get to my goal. Although I think my body may like it here.

TMG33 you are such an inspiration and beautiful too. When I first started this LAP-BAND® journey(4/2009) your picture was one the first that I saved. I felt we had so much in common, we are both tall black women, full figured-curvy and we started at about the same weight. So every so often I check back in to see if you have posted new pictures. When I saw your surgiversary pics I was blown away. You look marvelous darling!!! I wish I could be close to my goal this spring but so far I have only lost 43lbs. but I am going to keep trying.

Hello, I just wanted to stop by and compliment you on this picture. All I can say is WOW! I am a tall girl also.Three years ago, was a size 12 and I weighed 187. I too felt that I needed to lose more weight, but now that I see you at this weight, I realize now that I was exactly were I needed to be. I guest it was the big number (187) that bothered me. I just didn't feel comfortable being that close to 200lbs. I made it down to 176lbs and I still wasn't satisfied! If I could have that back today, I would own it! How tall are you? Keep up the good work. You are a very beautiful girl. You should be very proud of yourself.
