sabrina4you 17 Posted December 25, 2009 I wanna know, too! I love sushi and I know after I get my surgery I won't be able to eat it... Share this comment Link to comment
Lauren87 7 Posted December 28, 2009 It's wrapped in cucumber. Unfortunately, it does cost and extra $2 and it's a bit harder to eat, however it's totally worth it! Evilqween76, you can still enjoy it--I just recommend asking the waiter/waitress if there are any substitutions (I always use a rice allergy excuse). Share this comment Link to comment
ashleyrebecca25 0 Posted February 7, 2010 why cant you eat rice after? Share this comment Link to comment
Lauren87 7 Posted February 9, 2010 Ashleyrebecca25: You technically can eat rice, but it depends person-to-person. The problem with rice is that it continues to absorb fluid once it's in your stomach. If you eat too much of it (and some can't tollerate it even with small amounts), you run into the possibility of it coming back up because of the above-mentioned swelling.
