Not until I was 19 did I start gaining weight. Then I gained in leaps and bounds. Long story short, I had Insulin Resistance and Hypothyroidism that went undiagnosed for 15 years. Once diagnosed, I lost 100 pounds in six months. Then I had to start steriods for Myasthenia Gravis. Well, 160 pounds later, I decided on WLS to help me.
