I am now 1 week out and have lost 8 lbs. But I just cant take the mushie and liquids. I need real food. So my portion size is small, and I feel full very quickly. but of course the scale stopped moving and I am hungery every 2 hours or so. Is this a good indicater it is time for a fill. I weight 232lbs from 240lbs, goal weight 150 lbs.

I am new and I am hoping for quick weight loss. But I can see it wont be easy. Any advise?

Have you started exercising yet? As long as your sticking with smaller portions and getting in your essential, like the water and protein then you should be okay. For us banders I think that exercise is a most especially for us who have not had a fill. It will allow you to maintain and get into a routine until you can find that sweet spot everybody talks about. For myself I was stuck at 258 for a month but I havent had a fill and I was banded in Feb. However I wasnt getting the protein I needed and the instance I did the two pounds I was trying to loss fell off somewhere between eating and exercising. I think as long as you take your time and remember how to eat and exercise you will be fine, but dont become complacent with your eating though. Wish you luck, and I hope it helps!!
