getting in shape

Hi Everyone,

Maybe someone out there can give me some pointers. I had surgery on 4/20 and get my 1st fill on 6/3. This past week when I started eat solid food the scale told me this AM i am up 5 lbs. The food goes does easily with no complications. I was told that this happens and the 1st month is just about healing. Now I am only at 15 lbs. where I use to be at 20 lbs. Am I doing anything wrong.

thanks

Well I'm only 3 weeks out and I stil have a ton of restriction so I haven't gone through this bandster hell yet, but from what I've read it's completely normal to feel really hungry after a few weeks until you start getting fills. A lot of people who have posted here have not lost or even gained weight during this period. It doesn't soudn like you're doing anything wrong. Just keep sticking with it and the weight will come off eventually.

I was banded 4/22 and once I started solids I have gone up and down the same 2 pounds...I'm just glad I haven't gained which is very NORMAL. You're basically on your own right now as the band isn't working yet. Hang in there; after a few fills we'll start feeling restriction and then our tool will be there for us. Bandster Hell is frustrating. -BG

VERY normal for some- Until you get restriction this can happen , the best advice I can give is pre schedule your fills get them on time eventually u will get restriction and it won't be a challenge! Enjoy the journey!
