will insurance pay for any of the protein drinks or powders? I currently unemployed but have insurance through maine care, which is state

assistance.I'm on food stamps and i don't think they include these things.Anyone run into this situation before:unsure:?

That is an excellent question. While I don't have a great answer, I would suggest speaking to your primary care and also the surgeon. If the state is going to pay for your surgery and you are having financial issues he/she may have some suggestions. Protein powder is expensive unfortunately. I wish you the best with this journey :)

when i got layed off from my job, i had to take assistance, with food stamps&medical an yes when i went shopping for the protien drinks i paid for them with food stamps, i bought the eas protien drinks.
