Well, I did it! Can't believe it is over....or should I say it's just beginning :thumbup: The whole thing went pretty smoothly. I had to be there at 7, surgery was at 8, I was done by 9 and home by 1pm. Was pretty sore, but it's better today. On a liquid only diet of course, but don't feel too hungry although I AM looking forward to some soup or something! If anyone wants to talk or e-mail, feel free! Jackiepurs@hotmail.com

Hang in there because it gets easier day by day. I was not hungry for the first 5 days. Moving to creamy foods, especially yogurt and pudding was like winning the lotto. The key is to keep a positive attitude and to remember that this is the first steps in taking back your life!

I cant believe you guys had it so easy. This is my day 7 and I'm still sore. My stitches r so itchy and I'm starving. I have moved on to soft foods(couldn't wait), but I have zero resistance so I'm always hungry. I'm also so gassy although that helps me not to eat. I'm not usually the complainer, but I read others who r doing so well and I'm beginning to wonder if somthing is wrong with me.
